Biography
I Studied HND photography part-time at Thames Valley Uni and started full time professional photography in 2004 but I have always had a love of image making. In my apprentice days I studied electronics engineering and the first job I had was in TV and Video repairs. In 1989 I started at Digital Equipment Corporation as a PC and Printer engineer which has given me an early adoption into the would of digital images and a deep understanding of the complextity involved when trying to output and work with digital files.
Focusing on social photography for events, weddings and personal portraits with some commercial work with an IT magazine covering events all over Europe, Middle East & Africa, plus on location work with a major retailer. The masters that have inspired me are Cecil Beaton and Lee Miller. My equipment consists of Fujifilm S5 Pro, Nikon and Sigma lenses plus Bowens Studio lighting and Metz flash.
